This work revolves around rites of passage, fears and personal vulnerabilities. The intense desire to step across these seemingly immutable social thresholds is frequently infused with confusion, distress and tears. The way we approach them, the way we deal with them, the ways in which we don’t, and the consequences of all that follows, informs my art practice.
