A plague on man’s endeavours, a plague on the land itself; and yet these small deaths are deaths none the less.
Animals, birds, these beautiful elusive creatures with their fragile freedom, their deathbeds do not honour their beauty or freedom, something that provides a thread of continuity with our human existence.
