A Room of One's Own
BMG Art – The Line II 2019
The Line II is BMG's second major group exhibition dedicated solely to drawing. I'm pleased to be sharing the space once again with Godwin Bradbeer, Kevin Connor, Christopher Orchard and Jason Cordero.
I began to explore the idea of ‘out of place’ and ‘having no place’ and a place one can call one’s own while traveling through the Gawler Ranges last year. The title of Virginia Woolf's famous essay 'A room of one's own' came to mind and these images the first step on the path to a broader investigation of what that might mean from a variety of perspectives.
The exhibition opens Friday October 25 and runs until November 16.
