A SMALL WORLD

I was one of 204 international artists who participated in A Small World. The associated worldwide auction raised funds for cancer research through Marilyn Jetty Swim for Cancer Council SA.

The coordinator and artist, Avril Thomas put in a prodigious effort to bring all the works together and present the works at the Magpie Springs Gallery. The auction raised $8,667.85, an amazing result.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to establish new contacts within the artist community, both locally and overseas. I found a like-minded artist who shares my interest and enthusiasm for drawing and painting on film….a few long winded Facebook messages later… the chance of exploring paint on film… one day!
